A MUM has transformed her daughter's first bedroom into an epic fairytale room using bargains from Amazon.

Lynn Marie showed off the finished job on Facebook's DIY on a Budget Official group.

She said: "Me and my daughter moved into our first proper home where she has her own bedroom back in August.

"I've been slowly decorating each room and apart from missing curtains because I can't find any I like I think I'm finally finished her room.

"It's my first time trying anything like this so please be gentle".

But she needn't have worried as people loved her efforts, which racked up 5,600 likes and 1,600 comments in just two days.

She said: "Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments you have boosted my confidence so much".

The mum did the job on a budget, finding the curtain lights, vine flowers, vine leaves, feather light shade, wall stickers and duvet cover on Amazon.

Although she did splash out on a cabin bed from Very – costing £349 – which has a great slide for her daughter to use.

Commenting on the post, people raved: "wow", "great job" and "You did absolutely amazing!!!"

Others said: "Very pretty,love the bed especially", "My daughter would love this room" and "This is beautiful xx well done. It’s ever girls dream, even at 40 haha".

One woman wrote: "It’s magical. Good job mama", while another said: "There is no way anyone can criticize this. What talent and imagination. What an awesome job".
