A PUB in the UK has been described as having "the best views" with some people even claiming that dolphins can be spotted from its beer garden.

A cold drink outside on a hot day is one of the best things about summer and there's a place where you can combine the two, while enjoying stunning views of clear blue seas.

The Bowgie Inn in Newquay, Cornwall overlooks Crantock beach, which is known for its "large expanse of golden sands".

The sea in the area is a beautiful shade of turquoise in the summer, while shallow pools make it a perfect place for families to take kids for a paddle.

The beach itself is popular for swimming, snorkelling, surfing and wind-surfing and there is board and canoe hire there for anyone who wants it.

However, what really makes the place perfect for a summer's day visit is the Bowgie, which is perched on the headland behind the bay.

One person who was blown away by the pub was Tiktoker CJ (@cjexplores) , who claimed it had "the best views".

In a video he shared online, he said: "You have to visit this pub in Cornwall for its incredible beach views."

The footage shows CJ walking through the pub and out to the beer garden, from where the sapphire sea can clearly be seen.

More than a million people have seen CJ's video since he shared it, with others sharing similar experiences of the bar.

A third added: "No, don't encourage everyone to go. it's one of our favourites!"

Tiktok isn't the only place where people have spread the news about the pub, with one person on TripAdvisor claiming they were able to watch dolphins from the beer garden.

They wrote: "The Bowgie overlooks Crantock beach and if you're lucky you can sit with a nice cold beer and watch the dolphins chase the surfers along the waves. "

Dolphins are known to visit the beach, with Visit Cornwall describing them as "occasional visitors".

Other animals have been spotted in the nearby waters as well, including sharks, whales and even turtles, according to Stay in Cornwall.

There are other beach pubs that are impressing punters throughout the UK as well, for those who can't get over to Cornwall.

One is The Old Neptune in Kent, which described online as an "intimate Victorian inn with period decor" that offers "pub-grub, plus live music".

The Neppy, as it's known to locals, sits right on Whitstable beach, meaning people can order themselves a cold pint, while sitting looking out to sea.

Customers love the unique experience it offers, with one even comparing it to holiday hotspots further afield.

In a review on TripAdvisor, they wrote: "Table service on the beach patio, with a varied menu and a good selection of beers.

"Went there specifically to try the local gin. and stayed for lunch, the fish selection box. Ideal for a beach side lunch. was just like being on the Costas."
