A WOMAN has revealed how she flew to Italy for the day – and barely spent a thing.

She shared her journey on TikTok after deciding to fly to Milan for the day trip.

Abbie, who is known as torkersss on the social media platform, posted a video of herself flying to the Italian city for a day.

In the footage, Abbie can be seen boarding a Ryanair flight at 6am.

After she touched down, she said: "I've just landed and got off the plane, I was in and out of security in literally 20 seconds.

In the next clip, Abbie had arrived in Milan city centre after taking a bus from the airport.

She added: "I've just got to Milan central station. I'm going to walk to the cathedral because I've booked to be there at 12pm and it's like a 40-minute walk but it's quite sunny, so I thought I might as well."

Despite purchasing her tickets in advance online, Abbie queued to enter Milan's cathedral.

After she explored the inside of the cathedral, Abbie climbed the up to the cathedral's rooftop.

She then left the cathedral area and went to grab a bite to eat.

But instead of dining on Italian food, Abbie tucked into a plate of burgers and chips for her lunch.

She then went shopping at Bath and Body Works where she bought a bottle of hand sanitiser and hand cream.

Abbie added: "I'm back by the cathedral, and I'm going to head into the Duomo museum."

There she explored some of the museum's relics before heading back to the airport to get her flight home.

Even though Abbie's flight back to the UK was delayed, she said she had a great day but couldn't wait to get into bed.

In the comments, Abbie clarified that she'd spent £31 on her flights to Milan.

The video has had more than 14,000 views with many people praising Abbie's ability to travel solo in the comments.

One person wrote: "Wow I admire you so much."

Another person added: "I wish I had your confidence to do these on my own."

Both Ryanair and easyJet operate direct flights to Milan from the UK with prices starting at £15 for a one-way ticket.

Just last month another woman flew to Pisa for the day after she decided to live out one of her life-long dreams of seeing the Leaning Tower.
