But what is Greg up to now?

Who is Greg O’Shea?

Before the contestant from Limerick entered the villa he was already a bonafide rugby star.

He played for the Ireland national rugby sevens team and even represented his country as a fly-half in the 2018 Rugby Sevens World Cup.

Although having trained at the Munster Rugby Academy, the sporting all-rounder actually competed in the 100 metre sprint at the European Youth Olympics in 2011.

Why did Greg dump Amber?

It was reported that Greg had dumped beauty therapist Amber via text message, with a social media campaign against the Irish rugby player soon kicking off.

After the #unfollowgreg campaign, Greg lost over 400,000 followers on Twitter in the space of week, and last year he admitted he found the negativity hard to deal with.

He explained that he decided to part ways from Amber because they "really didn't know each other that well."

Greg told Goss.ie of Amber: "She's class and she's got everything going for her. But the issue was, when I came home I stuck myself into training.

"I could have tried harder but that would have made her unhappy. I couldn't give her what she wants and needs.

"People kind of got the wrong story, they just saw 'Greg breaks up with Amber over text'. There was so much more to it.

"We were in person, we were FaceTiming, there was phone calls, back and forth, and then just one thing comes out. There's no point in even fighting it because you're just fighting a losing battle."

What is Greg doing now?

Well, instead of hitting up the party circuit and signing lucrative influencer deals, Greg has been completing his exams to become a lawyer.

Back In June he announced on Instagram: “I just submitted my last exam and I’m done. Oh my god, I cannot believe I’m finished.

“These last couple of months have been the hardest couple of months in my life, and I hate complaining but this challenge has been ridiculous.

“I’ve played in front of tens of thousands of people, I’ve been on TV shows in front of millions of people, but this is easily the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do these law exams.”

However, aside from this, the busy star is also still playing rugby as well as hosting his own podcast for Vodafone Ireland.

Who is Greg O’Shea dating?

We don’t currently know if Greg is in a relationship, however back in July of last year, he revealed the last person her went on a date with “left [him] on read.”
