Are these the most stomach-churning meals EVER? Amateur chefs proudly show off dubious dishes – including a ‘breakfast kebab’ that looks like ‘roadkill’

  • Foodies have taken to the Facebook group Rate My Plate to poke fun bad dishes
  • Among the strange dishes is a spinach and avocado soup and minced meat feet
  • Also making it on the list is a burnt seafood risotto and a breakfast kebab

Horrified foodies have taken to social media to share their thoughts on some of the worst dishes being served at the dinner table.

British members on the Facebook group Rate My Plate have been left dumbfounded by the comical sights being prepared by amateur chefs in the home.

While many submissions to the group certainly look like delicious dishes, others leave a lot to be desired – including cheesy beans with pasta and bacon dish and a seafood risotto that looks like the ‘contents of a flower pot’.

Also joining the collection of unpleasant meals is a bright green avocado and spinach soup that resembled melted kryptonite and two perfectly square and burnt calzones that according to one user looked as thought it was ‘baked in Vesuvius’.

Here are some of the worst dishes making it onto the list:

This cheesy beans, pasta, bacon and egg dish created by Niall received more than 4,000 comments on the Facebook group

Horrified users rushed to the page to share their thoughts on the strange dish, with one user stating it looked like ‘an art student’s interpretation of food’

A rather strange looking seafood risotto created by Will S for lunch was met with a range of comments

One user claimed it looked like Will had simply gone to the beach and filled his bucket while another person wrote: ‘yummy nothing like beach shells and burnt rice for lunch’

In another shocking example of dishes gone wrong one user shared a picture of the spinach and avocado soup they were served by a Cohen P

Social media users poked fun at the sight of the soup and one said that the soup was a ‘strong no’ from her

Also sparking debate was this microwaved chicken dippers dish with BBQ instant noodles created by Nich O for tea

A rather unsettling homemade kebab wrap created by Graeme C for breakfast was met with a series of negative reviews

One social media users said the dish had the same appeal as ‘roadkill’ while another compared the dish to a bowel movement
