Talk about a golden couple.

Back in 1997, Gwyneth Paltrow and then-boyfriend Brad Pitt (whom she dated from 1994 to 1997) showed up at the premiere of “The Devil’s Own” with identical short blond haircuts, proving they were perfectly in sync on multiple levels.

But as the 48-year-old Oscar winner revealed in a new Goop video on Sunday, the iconic matching moment wasn’t actually intentional.

To promote the launch of her brand’s new GoopGlow Restore + Shine Hair Serum ($48), Paltrow sat down with her assistant, Kevin Keating, to revisit some of her most memorable hair looks from over the years, including her and Pitt’s “very blond” twinning pixies.

“Did you go to the same stylist for the colors?” Keating asked the star, to which she responded, “We went to the same stylist for the cut. Chris McMillan cut both of our hair like this.”

Still, Paltrow denied that the pair coordinated their cuts on purpose — and declined to answer Keating’s question about whether it felt like being with a twin “sexually.”

Elsewhere in the clip, the movie star-turned-entrepreneur recalled going brunette for her role in 2000’s “Bounce” with Ben Affleck, saying her hair “took a beating” from all the dye.

“It was actually a lot worse when I started to try to go back to blond,” Paltrow continued, adding that her resulting crimped look at the 2000 SAG Awards “[didn’t] look great.”

“If I ever try to pull off a ’90s crimp again, please stop me,” she captioned her Instagram post sharing the video, in part.
