B&Q is selling a cordless lawn mower in its clearance section, that only costs £25.

The Mac Allister compact lawnmower was originally £78, so shoppers can save £53 off the full price.

It's not the first time the lawnmower has been reduced either as it was previously marked down to £49 before B&Q slashed another £24 off the price.

It's got a cutting width of 31cm and it's cordless and compact, making the lawnmower ideal for trimming smaller sized gardens with high manoeuvrability.

Charge it up for an hour and a half for a long lasting run time, and plenty of opportunity to trim your whole garden.

Unfortunately because of the low price, stock is very limited on this item.

In some cases it's unavailable for delivery, though you can use B&Q store checker tool to see availability in your closest store.

If you are one of the lucky ones who can get the garden tool delivered to your door, you'll want to factor in the extra £5 delivery costs.

Otherwise you can head to your local B&Q to pick up for free, and you could try ringing ahead to avoid disapointment.

Brits have been keeping their gardens primed all summer long, but the end of the season doesn't have to mean that goes to waste.

If anything, it can be the best time of the year to buy garden products and tools as they are usually reduced heavily due a a dip in demand.

If you have the space to store items, it can be a good idea to cash in on the bargains now, at the end of the season, and store them away for when you will need them again, i.e in the spring time when the grass grows more.

But as always you should shop around before committing to a purchase, as you may find there's a better deal available elsewhere.

Using a tool such as Google shopping is a good way to check the price and to make sure you’re not getting ripped off.

DIY rival Homebase has a lawnmower reduced to £45 currently, but it's still £20 more expensive than B&Q's.

The lawnmower isn't available for delivery, but it does have multiple cutting heights and a unique vision window that allows you to see when the grass box is full.

Add enough garden up-keep essentials to your basket though and you could get 10% off a £100 spend at the store.

The cheapest that Argos is selling a lawnmower for is £50, so it's double the price of B&Q's.

While you might have better luck ordering it to your home, the big difference is that this one is corded, so it won't be as easy to manoeuvre about your garden.

At the beginning of the summer B&Q was the place to go to get your hands on a cheap hot tub, so it could be worth checking the store out for any further bargains now.

The store also made our top list of cheap swimming pools.

If you decide not to splash out on B&Q's latest bargain though and stick with your current petrol lawnmower, you might want to know if it is compatible with the new E10 fuel.
