Aldi launch new halloumi burger and bring back halloumi fries

Aldi has launched Halloumi Burgers following the success of their Halloumi Fries.

And to celebrate it all, the supermarket has also brought the customer favourite back.

For those who love a cheesy treat, that means you can have a halloumi burger with a side of halloumi fries.

Aldi launched the Specially Selected Halloumi Fries last year, and customers went crazy for them.

The cheese/chip combination flew off shelves and sold out pretty quickly, so it's likely to have a similar impact this time around.

Both the Halloumi Burger and the Halloumi Fries cost just £2.29.

For that, you can get ten halloumi fries or four halloumi burgers.

If you're a big Aldi fan, you'll be pleased to know their 2019 Christmas advert is out.

In the new ad, popular Aldi character Kevin the Carrot faces the Leafy Blinders, a bunch of angry Brussel Sprouts, who try to stop him throwing an awesome Christmas show.

Speaking about the advert and their Christmas food range Marketing Director at Aldi UK, Sean McGint, said: "We’re all thrilled to see Kevin back on our screens again, getting up to his usual tricks.

"Kevin’s popularity grows every year and he’s becoming something of a national treasure!

So far, Aldi has announced they'll be selling halloumi wrapped in bacon as part of its Christmas 2019 menu.

As well as the UK's longest pig in blanket , which measures two metres long.
