Hallwell in Adamstown launched in May of this year and has already sold 60 homes, with some of the buyers moving in in the coming weeks.

The development of three- and four-bed homes is being built by Hugh McCreevy & Sons. It’s close to Lucan village and a walk away from Adamstown train station.

Adamstown, the first ‘new town’-style development built in Ireland since Shannon town in the late 1960s, was launched by Bertie Ahern in 2005. It has come a long way since then and has been consistently popular with first-time buyers.

There are currently four house types on offer in Hallwell. Type A is a four-bed semi-d with a floor area of 1,432sq ft selling from €420,000. Type B is a four-bed over three storeys with a floor area of 1,658sq ft selling from €405,000 for terraced or from €420,000 for end of terrace. Type C is a three-bed semi with a floor area of 1,249sq ft starting at €345,000 to €355,000. Finally Type D is a three-bed semi with a floor area of 1,227sq ft starting at €335,000 for terraced and €340,000 for end of terrace.

There are four showhouses on view tomorrow and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.
