Watermelon is undoubtedly everyone’s favorite summer fruit. Of course, watermelon season peaks during summer (aka May through September) so it makes sense that the refreshing treat takes the lead for possibly the most popular, healthiest and sweetest snack of the season.

Plus, watermelon gives off a plethora of health benefits because of its magical antioxidant properties. The fruit is composed of nearly 92% water, so not only does watermelon keep you hydrated, but it keeps you full longer too. Need we say more?

Mom’s Watermelon Moscato 

  • 3 ounces Barefoot Moscato
  • 2 ounces watermelon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Splash lemon juice

Combine over ice, garnish with watermelon and enjoy! 

Watermelon Gin and Tonic

Ingredients

  •  ½ cup diced fresh watermelon, seeds removed
  • 4 lime slices
  •  6 fresh mint leaves
  •  4 ounces gin
  • 1 (8.45 oz) Perrier Watermelon Sparkling Natural Mineral Water

How to make it: In a shaker, muddle fresh watermelon, lime slices and mint leaves. Add gin and fill with ice. Shake well and strain evenly into two glasses filled with ice. Top off each glass with Perrier Watermelon. Add watermelon slices, fresh mint leaves and enjoy!

Watermelon Sorbet

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 8 cup seedless Watermelon
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Directions: In a small pan add water and sugar then bring it to boil. Cook until the sugar is dissolved,then set aside to cool. Puree watermelon in batches and place in a large bowl. Add sugar syrup and lemon juice and mix well. Place in a 13×9 dish,cover and place it in the freezer until firm. Puree frozen mixture before serving.
