Japanese candy purveyor HEART has created Okashi de Tsukuru Bonsai, translated to “Making a Bonsai Out of Candy” in English, for gardeners with a sweet tooth. The playful DIY kit allows you to simply make, groom and eat your very own chocolate bonsai tree.

Each kit comes complete with three molding trays, chocolate candies, leaf powder and a pot. By simply molding the candy into the tray and chilling it in the freezer you can create the base trunk of the Japanese agricultural art form. With just a touch of water and 50 seconds in the microwave, the accompanying leaf powder becomes realistic tuffs of foliage that can be applied to the trunk in any form of artistic distribution.

Priced at ¥350 JPY (approximately $3.40 USD), HEART’s Okashi de Tsukuru Bonsai is available now on Amazon and from stateside importers.

For more food and beverage news, South Korea ate $6.8 billion USD in fried chicken this year.
