Morrisons issues urgent food recall on pasta due to serious allergy fears – full list

Food recall warnings let Britons know if there are any issues with their food. Morrisons has shared a warning for those who have bought pasta in stores.

Del Vallo Pasta

Two pasta products have been recalled as they may contain soya.

This is not mentioned on the packaging and could be a risk for those with an allergy or intolerance.

Those who have bought the products and have an allergy have been asked to check for affected batches.

Best before: June 4, 2023, June 7, 2023

A statement from Morrisons said: “As a precautionary measure, the above date codes of these products are being recalled because they either contain or may contain soya, which is not mentioned on the labels.

“This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.”

Shoppers who have purchased the pasta and have an allergy or intolerance should not eat it.

Instead, the food item can be returned to stores for a full refund.

No receipt is needed to make a refund and Morrisons issued an apology to customers.

“We are asking all customers with a soya allergy not to consume this product and destroy it or return it to their nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt,” the statement continued.

“No other products or date codes of this product are affected by this issue.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”

The supermarket has recently recalled a number of baby food products as they could contain pieces of apple stalk, making them dangerous for young children.
