06/02/2023A DIETITIAN has shared her favorite go-to protein picks from Trader Joe's.
She recommended the food picks for something quick and easy for the "lazy girl" with no time.
Lauren (@sororitynutritionist), a nutritionist, shared her favorite foods from the grocery chain in a video with over 300,000 TikTok followers.
"If you don't have time to cook or don't have a kitchen, these are great, they're already flavored, and they're chicken breast!" she said.
She held up the Trader Joe's Balsamic Vinegar Grilled Chicken, their Turkey burgers, the Salmon burgers, and the Mahi Mahi burgers.
"Trader Joe's has the best burger game," she said.
For non-frozen options, she shared a tip that she herself frequently uses.
"I also make this salmon in my air fryer with whatever marinade, typically a teriyaki or Korean barbeque sauce," she said, picking up some Atlantic Salmon.
"You can also do the chicken sausages, any flavor in the air fryer for a quick protein on the go."
For snacks, she recommended the low-fat cottage cheese: "This cottage cheese with toast and fruit is amazing," she said.

Last but not least were some easy, on-to-go snacks.
"Hard-boiled eggs and these protein bars pack 20 grams per serving," she said, holding up the Caramel Cashew Barebells protein bars.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on her picks.
