12/14/2022THE ‘Elf on the Shelf’ trend hasn’t just swept households up and down the country – it’s also made its way into schools.
And one headteacher has scored serious brownie points with her students after taking it one step further.
As shown in a video posted to TikTok from the school in America, she’s taken it upon herself to dress up as an Elf every morning and place herself in a surprise location.
On the first day, the Principal was seen sitting on a table at the front of the school, surrounded by festive ornaments.
The next saw her stuck to the hallway’s wall with colourful tape, as the entertained children looked on and laughed.
Meanwhile, on the third day, she was spotted in the school’s reception in a frozen tableaux as she appeared to be wrapping up another member of staff with Christmas paper.

Other highlights included her sitting in the school’s awards cabinet holding a trophy.
She was also filmed taking a nap on top of the canteen’s counters, as the children all ran to see her.
And showing she wasn’t short of ideas for the duration of the new tradition, the teacher began another day by hiding behind the photocopier and pretending to be asleep.
Her hilarious real life Elf on the Shelf has gone down well with the kids and their parents.

One TikTok account, under the name @ahhhlieeee, shared a compilation clip.
They also explained she worked at Southwestern Elementary in Shelby County Indiana.
They wrote alongside it: “Tell me you have the coolest Principal without telling me you have the coolest Principal.”
And many others rushed to the comment section to hail her the best teacher and a good sport.
One said: “She wins! Please pass this trophy on to her.”
A second wrote: “Oh my gawddddd…the coolest, these are so good.”
While a third added: “This is exactly the type of educators that leave impressions on kids.
“It should be mandatory for all Principals to do this.”
