Tiffany Watson has thanked her fans for their support after heartbreakingly revealing she suffered a miscarriage at eight weeks of pregnancy.

The 28 year old was speaking to her friend and co-star Olivia Bentley on the E4 reality show Made in Chelsea last week when she tearfully told her the sad news.

And taking to her Instagram platform on Tuesday, the reality star shared a series of photos from the hospital and her pregnancy test and her baby scan.

Tiffany emotionally began in her caption: "Overwhelmed by the amount of amazing, supportive messages I've received regarding the miscarriage I sadly suffered last year."

Tiffany continued: "So many of you reaching out to say you've been through or going through the exact same.

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to keep it quiet, not speak about it, pretend it never happened, but I realised if women continue to do this it's going to continue to be a taboo topic, and that needs to change.

"In the U.K., it is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage."

She continued: "If me sharing my personal story helps just one other going through the same, then that makes me happy. I have shared the full story on the latest episode of @whatwedontpostpodcast for those who want to know more.

"Thank you to my amazing boyfriend, my family, my friends, the NHS and all you guys on here for being so supportive, it means the #1in4."

Last week, MIC viewers watched as Tiffany admitted she had gone through a "massive low" shortly after getting engaged to her fiancé Cameron McGeehan in October.

Tiffany told Olivia: "Basically, at the end of last year, I found out I was pregnant, which came as a massive surprise because we weren't trying or anything.

Olivia asked: "And then you lost it?" before an emotional Tiffany nodded and broke into tears.

"I haven't told anyone," Tiffany said. "I've only told my family."

She explained: "Yes, I wasn't trying. But at the same time, I was like, I'm in a committed relationship, this is a surprise earlier than we would have liked it to be, but that's fine.

"And then I had really, really bad morning sickness. It was awful morning sickness. And then I woke up one day and the morning sickness was completely gone. I was like, this is weird. Then I started feeling really normal."

A doctor later confirmed that Tiffany had suffered a miscarriage.
