Kim Kardashian and Kanye West bring four security guards to fashion gala

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrived at the Fashion Group International Gala with a four-man security team.

The famous pair were on hand to give an award to LA-based designer Rick Owens — with West pointing out that “LA fashion” is now a compliment, whereas “it used to be a diss.”

Kardashian was later overheard telling a guest of West, “I never know what he’s going to say — so I didn’t want to talk for long. I was the quiet one. Kanye really loves Rick and believes in supporting American fashion, so he was speaking from the heart.”

Also at the event: Donna Karan, Vera Wang and Brandon Maxwell.
