Katie Price will ‘craft and upcycle’ Mucky Mansion into family home in Channel 4 show

Channel 4 has commissioned two new shows to follow Katie Price on her journey to put her past traumas behind her and turn her Mucky Mansion "into a home" again.

The success of Stacey Solomon's Sort Your Life, where the Loose Women star declutters and organises people's home, has had an impact on the 43 year old former glamour model, and now she's set to follow in her footsteps.

Katie's West Sussex mansion has been sitting nearly-untouched for a long time as she's stayed in Essex with partner Carl Woods, 32, and her eldest son Harvey, 19.

The 19-room house is full of bad memories for the reality star and has been left uninhabitable after being subject to vandalism.

However, Katie is ready to turn the place into "a home" once more as she said: “My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that anymore, I’m making it a home.

"I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding.

"My house is a bit like my life, it’s being put back together like I’m being put back together.”

In one teaser clip for the new documentary, Katie can be seen shopping with Harv for wallpaper for her eight year old son Jett's room.

As Harvey asked for 7feet of the astroturf, Katie said: "We're actually using this for wallpaper. So no one has ever come here and asked for that for wallpaper."

"I love being creative, sometimes you've got to think outside the box," she added.

A second teaser shows the star on a crane lift as she attempts to help while holding a brown pot before accidentally dropping it.

The pot then travelled down her roof, chipping part of it off, before breaking on the floor below.
