Kate Beckinsale is an absolute queen as she rocks latex at Los Angeles Pride06/10/2019
Kate Beckinsale looked like an absolute queen as she rocked a latex outfit while celebrating the Los Angeles Pride.
The 45-year-old could be seen strutting her stuff as she shaded herself with a black umbrella while heading to the festival with a number of drag queens.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a series of snaps from the day, and even gave a shout out to the Lyft float she was on board.
In a caption to the picture of herself partying with her friends, the actress championed the celebration.
She wrote: ‘So much love and happiness and sweating and glitter on the @lyft float at #lapride.’
Fans were quick to comment, and couldn’t help but praise the star for taking part in the day.
One wrote: ‘That’s why you are one of my Queens!!’ while another added: ‘The most beautiful women I’ve ever seen you look so amazing WOW gorgeous.’
And it seems Kate wasn’t the only celeb to throw her support behind the LGBTQ community, as Rocketman star Taron Egerton also donned a rainbow T-shirt when joining Elton John on stage.
Yes, the actor gave a nod to Pride as he was reunited with his BFF for a rendition of Our Song during the legendary singer’s farewell tour.
The 29-year-old could be seen blasting out the iconic tune while wearing a pair of Elton-esque sunglasses.
Rocketman doesn’t shy away from showing Elton’s sexuality, and is considered the first main studio feature film to feature a gay sex scene.
However, the pivotal scene that shows Elton falling in love with, kissing and having sex with manager John Reid, played by Richard Madden, was cut from the Russian version of the film.
Taron was upset after hearing the news and took to Instagram with his own statement.
The star wrote: ‘I am crestfallen that the decision was made to censor our movie for the Russian market…
‘I in no way condone this decision and feel disappointed I wasn’t made aware and given the chance to fight this move.’
Sharing a rainbow emoji, he added: ‘Love is love. No compromises.’
