Glum Maura Higgins spotted for first time since ‘retiring’ from fame

Maura Higgins was spotted looking downcast as she partied another night without Curtis Pritchard.

It's the first time the Irish grid girl, 28, has been seen since explaining she wanted to take some time out from fame after feeling "burnt out" .

She was spotted out at the Tape Night Club in Mayfair with her Love Island co-stars, including India Reynolds, 28, Jordan Hames, 24, Chris Taylor, 28, Joe Garratt, 22, and Michael Griffiths, 27.

Maura had also cancelled a paid appearance over the weekend in favour of a night out with her sister in London.

Maura later complained that she hadn't been feeling well and that she'd struggled with her busy schedule and had not had a moment to herself since leaving the show.

She donned a bright green dress to party with her fellow Islanders, who she filmed fooling around on her Instagram Stories.

The gang were all dining at Savage Garden in the city, before partying at the nightclub.

Maura giggled away as she filmed funnyman Chris Taylor juggling ice and a pint glass before dropping it on the ground.

Maura's stress comes amid rumours that she has split from her Love Island beau, 23, after spending so much time apart.

They quashed the gossip by posting a picture together of them enjoying a date night in Essex.

The reality star apologised to disappointed fans who had paid for tickets to see her in Birmingham and admitted she'd needed some down time after her 'hectic' post-Love Island schedule.

"I wanted to come on and say to everyone who was coming to see me at my PA, I'm so sorry I didn't make it," she said.

"To be honest, I'm completely burnt out – I've not had a day off since leaving the villa and I've not had any social time or anything, so I need to take a few days off and just kind of sort my head out."
