Adele breaks her silence on Skepta romance rumours as star insists she’s a ‘single cat lady’

Adele has insisted there's nothing romantically going on between herself and rapper Skepta.

The Hello hitmaker, who recently stunned in a denim jumpsuit, took to her Instagram to share a snap from her Saturday Night Live hosting debut.

The photo showed the gorgeous star dressed in a black off-the-shoulder outfit and in the caption, the 32 year old couldn't help but thank all those involved in the show for all their help.

She wrote: "Had the best time on SNL! Thank you to the most wonderful cast, crew, writers and producers.

"What a sublime bunch of people you are. Lorne thank you for believing in me! Lindsay my sister for life, Maya my comedy and Mama hero!

"Plus the so up for it audiences at both the dress rehearsal and live show! I did it for the joy of it and I hope you got some from it too! Good luck with the election America I love you so much. Look after each other and go easy on yourselves." [sic]

The singer, who recently gave fans a glimpse of her stunning traditional kitchen in her Los Angeles home, went on to hint that she's completely single, despite recent rumours as she said: "Happy Halloween! I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year," followed by a black heart emoji.

Her little admission didn't go unnoticed by fans as one person commented: "Emphasis on single. What a f**kin queen." [sic]

Another, confused, wrote: "Single as in you’re single or single as in one (1) cat," [sic] while a third added: "YES YOURE SINGLE! I still got a chance wanna date?" [sic]

It comes as Adele recently reportedly splashed out £16,000 on a gold chain for her “almost boyfriend” Skepta.

The artist is said to have treated the rapper, who turned 38 last month, after going on a string of dates with him.

Adele and Skepta are “not official”, friends of the pair claim, but their romance is said to have stepped up a gear.

A source told Mirror Online: “Adele and Skepta have grown close in recent months and have been seeing a lot of each other.

“She’s been in England, and she gave him a beautiful gold chain for his birthday.

“He was showing friends the chain and seemed pretty hyped about it. While they’re not officially in a relationship, they are very close.”
