YOU can stay in a medieval fairytale castle for just £16 per person, per night.

The castle is even big enough to take along 15 of your friends too.

Llaés Castle, built in the 10th century, is found in the province of Girona in Spain, less than two hours from Barcelona.

With eight bedrooms, there is room for up to 16 guests to stay.

The castle is surrounded by mountains with uninterrupted views of nature – and the secluded abode will make anyone feel like a Disney princess.

A walled garden inside is perfect for late night dinners, along with a water well in the atrium.

There is even a chapel inside – meaning you could have a wedding ceremony in the castle as well.

The bedrooms feature authentic medieval beds in stone-walled buildings, so you can enact any fantasies of being locked in a tower yourself.

Bringing a lot of luggage? You can use the pulley system to take it to your rooms from the ground floor.

The castle was rebuilt by owner Marc Guinjoan, who told El Mundo that tourists from Singapore to Australia have stayed in the castle.

He said it was popular with fairytale fans and eccentric travellers, explaining former bookings included "a bachelor party with a princess costume theme."

However, guests are warned to prepare before travelling.

The private location of the castle means there are sparse amenities, so taking your own food with you is recommended.

It is also a trek up to the castle, so you need to be a strong walker.

Prices start from £253 a night for up to 16 people, costing just £16pppn.

The Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany was through to be the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty.

You can also visit the castle which inspired the Beauty and the Beast films in France – The Chateau de Chambord.

Here are some of the incredible castles in the UK which you can stay in too.
