You can currently bag cheap flights on Virgin Atlantic’s new A350 but be quick

Virgin Atlantic is welcoming a brand new A350-100 aircraft into its fleet this year, and now fans could bag cheap flights on board thanks to the airline's latest sale.

That's because the aircraft, registered G-VPOP and nicknamed 'Mamma Mia', will be operating on direct flights from London Heathrow to JFK in New York, which is included in the deals.

In fact, you can currently snap up return flights from £272pp on the Heathrow-JFK route, based on Economy Light tickets in October and November.

It's not just flights to New York which are included in the airline's latest sale.

There are plenty more great US destinations, not to mention some tempting deals on Caribbean hotspots like Barbados.

It's worth noting that currently the A350 is scheduled to operate on flights from Heathrow to JFK only.

Virgin Atlantic has already offered a sneak peek at the new aircraft when it had its livery painted at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France.

But it's not just the sleek exterior with the company's iconic red and silver colour scheme that caught aviation fans' attention.
