Virgin Holidays launches new Tel Aviv and Jerusalem holidays for 2020

Virgin Holidays is set to expand its holiday offering for Brits as the Sir Richard Branson 's travel firm is launching new escorted tour holidays to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

The new packages come just weeks after Virgin Atlantic's new flights to Tel Aviv took off , with return Economy fares from £358pp.

To complement the new route, Virgin Holidays will offer a new series of escorted tour holidays to Tel Aviv, as well as Jerusalem.

For example, The Classic Israel tour will be a nine-day/eight-night tour offering stops at Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Guests will get to explore some of the world's most famous holy sites – including the Church of Nativity – as well as taking a dip in the Dead Sea, enjoying local wine tasting and learning all about the diverse cities. Prices for this tour start from £1,869pp.

For those with more annual leave to play with, the travel giant will also offer The Classic Israel with Jordan tour, a 13-day, 12-night tour with trips to Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Petra and Amman. Prices for this one start from £2,945pp.

It's not just escorted tour holidays which will be on offer.

The company also announced that it was offering customers stays at a series of hotels in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, ranging from 3.5* to 5* offerings.

Tel Aviv hotels include the Herods Hotel Tel Aviv , Hotel Rothschild 22 , Dan Panorama Tel Aviv , Leonardo City Tower , Hilton Tel Aviv , Isrotel Royal Beach Tel Aviv and the Gilgal .

Meanwhile, Jerusalem hotels include the David Citadel , Dan Boutique Jerusalem , Dan Panorama Jerusalem , Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem and the Mamilla Hotel Jerusalem .

These can be booked with Virgin Atlantic flights to Tel Aviv of course, with four-night packages starting from £629pp based on a 30th January departure date.
