THOMAS Cook memorabilia is already being auctioned off on eBay just hours after the travel firm collapsed.

Safety cards, cabin crew equipment and even 'used' sick bags have been spotted on sale on the website.

Some of the Thomas Cook items sprung up on eBay last night, with some of the memorabilia starting from £20.

A Thomas Cook crew manual is currently being sold for £20, while a safety demonstration card is on offer for £10.

Luggage wraps, used by staff and pilots, are being sold for £14.99.

There are even sick bags on sale, with one being described as "used" already having a bid for £1.70.

Headphones and coach signs have also been spotted on the website.

Some eBay sellers are also optimistically selling Thomas Cook gift cards for £2.

Thomas Cook's closure has left 150,000 holidaymakers stranded abroad, as well as 21,000 crew without jobs.

Passengers on one of the last Thomas Cook flights praised cabin crew and wished them good luck.

One flight attendant said she "cried her eyes out" after losing her dream job.

Another wrote on Twitter: "Officially unemployed. My sunny heart is broken."

All holidays and flights have been cancelled following the collapse of Thomas Cook, leading to the biggest repatriation since World War II.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched Operation Matterhorn to rescue stranded travellers.

At least 40 planes have been sent to retrieve passengers as far as Malaysia, with UK airports facing chaos and customers told to stay at home.

The 178-year-old firm was unable to find £200 million for a rescue deal following crisis talks on Sunday evening.

Cabin crew are also selling their used tights on eBay for up to £20, with worn shoes selling for up to £75.

A flight attendant explained that many crew members sold items as they "don't get paid particularly well" so "everyone does it".

Another added that one of their colleagues was offered £300 for her outfit.
