Sneak peek at Yorkshire’s £37million theme park Gulliver’s Valley

08/27/2019

Yorkshire is set to get a brand new £37million theme park , and now families can get a sneak peek at the 250-acre site!

Gulliver's Theme Parks is behind the exciting new venture, and the company has released footage of the theme park being put together in fascinating behind-the-scenes footage.

Named Gulliver's Valley, the new park will be opening in Rother Valley in south Yorkshire, about half an hour's drive from Sheffield.

It's set to open in 2020 and will feature over 70 rides and attractions; in fact, the new clip offers a sneak peek of some of the rides as they are being built.

That includes what looks like a fun rollercoaster track, and we've also spied some large blue slides (we're hoping that means water slides!).

It's still very much in the construction process and although the company is remaining fairly tight-lipped about exactly what will be on offer, we know that it will also feature one of Gulliver's popular Blast Arena attractions, an indoor water play area and an indoor climbing centre.

Gulliver's Theme Parks has also revealed that the new offering will feature 'Western World', a cowboy-themed land complete with rides.

That will include themed buildings such as the Bank and Sheriff Station which visitors can explore, as well as a 'Western Play Street' for little ones who aren't quite big enough to take on the rides.

There will be plenty outdoors too including themed nature trails, a woodland adventure centre and 'forest classrooms' where children (and parents!) can learn all about nature and have plenty of adventures (or relax while trying their hand at various woodland crafts).

It's likely that the new park will be similar to the other Gulliver's Theme Parks across the UK such as Gulliver's World Warrington, Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath and Gulliver's Land Milton Keynes.

Whatever it brings, we reckon it could quickly become a contender for the UK's for the UK's best theme parks for small children .

You can find out more about the new project on the official website here , or get regular updates on the theme park's Facebook page .
