MoneySavingExpert reveals clever way to make your Ryanair flights even cheaper

02/15/2022

WILE Ryanair flights are some of the cheapest on the market, there is a way to make them cost even less.

MoneySavingExpert has revealed how you can get baggage and reserved seats much cheaper.

The website explained that it is all to do with comparing Value Fares and Regular Fares offered by Ryanair.

Value Fares come with nothing included, so passengers simply get a seat on the plane.

These often start from £4.99 each way, although the airline recently launched fares for as little as £3.49.

A Regular Fare has Priority boarding, reserved seats and two cabin bags which can be taken onboard, but start from £21 each way.

However, rather than pay for the Regular Fare, it can be much cheaper to pay for the Value Fare, and then pay for the extras separately.

According to MoneySavingExpert, passengers had saved as much as £100 when doing this method.

This is because seat reservations start from £3, while adding Priority and two cabin bags start from £8.

So if you managed to book a cheap fare of £3.50, this would cost you just £14.50 instead.

The website said: "We've found that opting for the 'Value' fare instead, then manually adding seat reservations, cabin bags and priority boarding, can often slash the cost.
