Lili Reinhart is warning her followers about fake cab and Uber drivers at airports.

The “Riverdale” star shared her own close encounter with a potential fake car service on Twitter Monday.

“PSA: I was just ushered to a car by someone posing to be an airport cab/Uber driver. I got to his car and there were absolutely no signs that he was a professional service driver. So I did NOT get into the car,” she wrote. “Please pay attention and make smart decisions out there.”

In a follow-up tweet, she urged her followers to stay safe.

“Seriously … please be careful out there,” she wrote. “You don’t have to be nice or worry about being rude. Trust your gut. It could save you.”

Reinhart’s warnings aren’t unwarranted.

Fake Uber drivers have made headlines recently, including a man who was arrested in May after his passengers learned mid-trip that he not only wasn’t a real ride-share driver, but that he was also drunk.

Another man is facing murder and kidnapping charges after a University of South Carolina student was killed in March after entering a car she mistakenly thought was her Uber ride.
