A Delta Air Lines flight traveling from Atlanta to Baltimore diverted its course Monday after a possible engine issue.

Airline spokesperson Adrian Gee confirmed the news in a statement to USA TODAY on Tuesday.

“The flight crew of Delta flight 1425 from Atlanta to Baltimore elected to divert to Raleigh, N.C., after receiving an indication of an issue with one of the aircraft’s engines,” she said. “The flight landed without incident and customers were re-accommodated on an alternate aircraft. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this diversion may have caused.”

The flight had 148 customers on board. No injuries were reported.

The aircraft is expected to return to service with a replaced engine; meanwhile, the damaged engine will be evaluated by the airline’s maintenance team.
