MORE countries were added to the green list last night, with Brits able to visit new destinations without restriction from next week.

Here is everything you need to know about a holiday to Bulgaria, including the popular Sunny Beach resort.

Can I go on holiday to Bulgaria?

From Monday 19 July, Brits will be able to visit Bulgaria without quarantining back in the UK as the country has been added to the green list.

Brits returning from Bulgaria will only need a pre-arrival Covid test and a second test on day two, which must be pre-booked before returning.

All arrivals must fill in a Passenger Locator Form as well.

What are the travel restrictions for Bulgaria?

Brits can travel to Bulgaria even if they aren't vaccinated.

To enter Bulgaria, tourists must have a negative Covid test, either a PCR test 72 hours before or an antigen test 48 hours before.

However, UK arrivals who are fully vaccinated can enter the country without test restrictions, with kids under the age of 12 not having to have tests or self-isolate.

Kids between 12 and 17 will need a negative Covid test to visit.

There are still some restrictions in place, with face masks mandatory for all indoor public spaces and any outdoor spaces when you cannot social distance, although the exemptions include exercise and while eating at restaurants.

Clubs, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions are open but operating at 50 per cent capacity, with social distancing of 1.5m in place.

Tourists caught breaking the rules could be fined between £135 to £900.
