BUDGET airline PLAY has launched more cheap flights to Florida- and they start from £149.99.

The Icelandic airline will begin flights from Liverpool to Orlando later this year, with the inaugural flight scheduled for November 4.

The journey includes a one-hour, 50 minute stop in Reykjavik, before continuing on to Orlando International Airport.

The airline, which launched last year following the demise of WOW Air, will have twice-weekly flights available between November 4 and April 10, 2023, making it a great choice for Brits planning on visiting Disney World during the school holidays.

One-way flights are available from £149.99pp, and round-trip flights start from £287pp.

This is alongside their London Stansted to Orlando flights which launched in February and started from £225pp for return flights.

In comparison, British Airways has one-way flights to Orlando from £293.

In other airline news, TUI has changed the airport which Brits will land at when visiting Orlando – which will make it harder for Disney holidays.

Flights from the UK will now land at Orlando Melbourne, which is nearly 80 miles from Disney World.

Previously, flights landed at Orlando Sandford Airport, which was just 40 miles away.

The change is expected to add an extra 30 minutes onto the journey, although it could take much longer during busier holiday periods.

Other airlines, such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and later this year PLAY, fly directly to Orlando International Airport, which is less than 20 miles from Disney World.

Airlines and airports have issued holiday warnings following weeks of travel chaos.
