Why is Holby City not on tonight and when is it back?

Last week we watched Rosie Marcel’s final scenes air as Jac Naylor in Holby City, as she left the show after fifteen years.  

While fans have been patiently waiting for the first episode without Jac, viewers are going to have to wait tonight as Holby City won’t be airing in it’s usual Tuesday slot.

Why is Holby City not on tonight?

Holby City isn’t airing tonight due to BBC One airing The FA Cup. That means EastEnders also won’t be airing, and Holby City viewers will have to wait to see what Darwin is like following Jac’s departure last week.

When is Holby City back?

Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long for Holby to return, as the episode that’s meant to air tonight will air on Wednesday 10 at 8:20pm instead.
