The disease affects the innermost lining of your large intestine and rectum and symptoms usually develop over time rather than suddenly.

The symptoms of the illness are: “Diarrhoea, abdominal pain and cramping, rectal pain or bleeding, urgency to defecate or an inability to defecate despite urgency, weight lose, fatigue and fever.”
Louise mentioned Crohn’s disease which is also a type of inflammatory bowel disease that “causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhoea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition”.
Louise’s admission comes as she told fans that she had a “good day yesterday followed by a bad day today.”
She explained: “When I spoke to my psychiatrist she told me to make sure that any physical health doctors I see take my concerns seriously.
“I don't want to be just labelled as ‘mentally unwell’ – I feel that I'm often overlooked now.”

“Anyway, I just got some recent blood test results back that I had to pay for privately and my iron and haemoglobin are really low which is incredible triggering.
“To be honest quite a few of them are either too high or too low which I find incredibly triggering too.
“Pre my traumatic experience and spending all that time hospital I was super healthy working out 4 times a week and living a good life.
“Now I can hardly climb a set of stairs without feeling exhausted. I get the worst agonising pain too.”
She ended by saying: “I just want someone to fix me.”
