However, we knew that since they wanted to give their little one as normal of a life as possible, the newest royal baby won’t be in the spotlight very much. Though we got some stunning pictures of baby Archie Harrison days after he was born on May 6, 2019, and from his christening, we were delighted to see the chubby baby during his parents’ royal tour in Africa in September 2019.
Giggling and smiling, the first thing royal fans noticed about Archie Harrison is that he looks EXACTLY like his dad –right down to the tuffs of red hair on his little head. Being a new parent is exhausting, but despite the other drama they’re dealing with as modern royals –Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex are absolutely delighted with their little one.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie is very smart
Though we may not have seen a ton of photos and videos of Archie Harrison — his proud parents are more than happy to talk about him with the press and the public. An insider told US Weekly, “He’s a strong baby and you can tell he’s super smart. He can sit up without support and rollover, and he’s almost crawling. He can’t talk yet, but he’s trying!”
Baby Archie is a daddy’s boy
It looks like Archie Harrison and Prince Harry are more than just twins. Apparently, the tiny tot is also quite the daddy’s boy. The royal source explained, “When Harry walks into the room, Archie gets so excited, he puts his arms out—his way of saying, ‘Pick me up!’ You can tell Archie’s going to be a social butterfly. He’s at his happiest when he’s around people.”
When Markle and Prince Harry took Archie Harrison to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in Cape Town, it was clear that he was delighted to be around so many people.
Baby Archie is a very calm baby
As they’ve been struggling to find their footing in the royal family while remaining true to themselves — the prince and duchess have reveled in their little one’s calm spirit. The royal insider revealed, Archie Harrison’s “such a happy baby” that he “rarely cries.” The source continued, “He takes a keen interest in his surroundings and is already engaging and interacting with people. He loves to be entertained. And he isn’t a needy baby—he’ll happily go to Harry and Meghan’s friends without kicking up a fuss.”
How has Baby Archie changed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage?
Having a baby is a major change for anyone –especially for newlyweds like the duke and the duchess. The insider told US Weekly, that some strain was added to their marriage. “There were times [in the beginning when] they’d bicker over the smallest things because they were so tired,” they explained. Thankfully Archie Harrison is now sleeping through the night. “There’s less strain on the marriage,” the source added. “They can finally enjoy some ‘couple time’ in the evening.”
It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are enjoying domestic bliss.
