Vaping teens are inundating a popular video app with posts mocking recent health warnings about e-cigarettes.

Dozens of videos are trending on the app TikTok under the hashtag #StopJuuling, but not because teens are trying to get ahead of the health crisis involving the e-cigarettes, including the popular Juuls.

Instead, users are creating the short clips to make fun of officials’ health concerns amid recent reports that at least six people have died and more than 450 others have suffered illnesses linked to vaping.

In one video posted Saturday, a young woman who goes by @VikkiStaysSaucy says, “I want to show the effects of juuling” — before flashing the camera to her injured toe.

Another teen with the handle @ohnoitscrislynn shared footage Thursday from a hospital, claiming she suffered a collapsed lung.

“Stop vaping before it’s too late :(” she wrote.

It wasn’t until she gained more than 20,000 followers that she revealed she didn’t, in fact, have a vaping-related illness.

“I had 12 followers this morning,” she said in a follow-up video. “They were all my friends. I actually did it as a joke.”

In another video, a TikTok user named Cadence pretended to be a teacher living in a post-vaping future.

“3019 teacher: And in 2019 all teenagers died,” he wrote in the video shared Saturday.

Kansas health officials issued a desperate plea Thursday to refrain from using e-cigarettes after someone in the state died from a vaping-related illness.

“If you or a loved one is vaping, please stop,” said Dr. Lee Norman with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. “The recent deaths across our country, combined with hundreds of reported lung injury cases, continue to intensify.

“I’m extremely alarmed for the health and safety of Kansans who are using vaping products and urge them to stop until we can determine the cause of vaping related lung injuries and death,” he said.
