• Another has such a busy pattern, anyone would want to avoid on a hangover 

From hazardous levitating glass to headache-inducing carpet, these sets of stairs are so poorly designed, they may even cause you an injury or two. 

The amusing fails, which were sent in by people from across the globe, have been collated in a gallery by Bored Panda.   

One of the pictures shows a set of stairs so steep, you need legs of steel to climb them, while another image reveals a blocked wall that’s a definite breach of health and safety. 

From causing an embarrassing trip to potentially broken bones, these stairways are sure to make you watch your next step…

A ghostly presence! These levitating stairs not only mess with your mind, but could also break your bones

Hitting a brick wall! While this set of stairs is meant to be used in the case of an emergency, we’d advise taking a different escape route

Crossed the line! If there’s a patterned carpet you’d want to avoid on a hangover, it’s likely to be this one
