Spoilers: Dipi and Pierce kiss and Scarlett ups the ante in Neighbours

10/10/2020

If you play with fire you’re bound to get burned, as several of our Neighbours will learn this week as they end up with scorched fingers.

Ned (Ben Hall) knows he’s dancing with the devil in Scarlett (Whelan Browne) but he can’t stop because she has him right where she wants him. And he has no idea how bad things are going to get.

Dipi (Sharon Johal) and Pierce (Tim Robbards) are also making things a bit toasty for themselves when they suffer a momentary lapse in judgement and give in to the heat of the moment. Are they about to embark on something really bad?

Jane (Annie Jones) and Karl (Alan Fletcher) find themselves facing off with a new opponent over their stockpiling when they fail to heed Susan’s (Jackie Woodburne) warning.

And Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) is plunging her hand straight into the centre of the flames when she helps Rose (Lucy Durack) and puts Toadie’s (Ryan Moloney) whole career on the line.

Here’s what’s ahead in Neighbours next week.

Scarlett kicks off evil plan

Ned is forced into doing the painting Scarlett wants as she’s got him over a barrel. He struggles being so close to her, having flashbacks of how she tortured him before. She knows she’s making his skin crawl and uses that to her advantage. She’s enjoying this. She plays games with him, getting at him over his relationship with Yashvi. Ned, desperate to get away comes up with a plan, but Scarlett is ready for him and hits back at his attempt to get away. He’s stuck with no choice but to do exactly as she asks. Little does he know this is only the start of what she’s got in store for him.

Can Levi and Sheila mend their rift?

Levi angrily lashes out at Sheila over her awful meddling with his medical records. Does she have any idea the trouble she has caused?! The pair are left at odds leaving their relationship even further strained. Nicolette comes to the rescue, trying to help Levi see that Sheila’s intentions were good. Will Levi be able to see his Gran just loves him so much she’d do anything for him?

Jane and Karl get caught out

Jane and Karl are still hoarding like maniacs and they’re not playing things carefully. In fact, they’re so careless Susan catches wind of the fact they haven’t donated anything to charity and goes ballistic. But still, these two aren’t about to give up their stash and instead of doing what they’re told, they rope in an unwitting David, getting him to let them stash their stuff in The Doug Out. Nicolette catches on and is too savvy for them, managing to negotiate herself a cut. Karl and Jane have met their match.

Mackenzie to ruin Toadie’s career?

Toadie is concerned for Rose. Her decision to take the unfair settlement seems rash and makes no sense. Mackenzie is equally disappointed, she thought Rose had more fight than this. She decides to try and influence the PA, dropping hints about where to find her husband’s hidden assets. Does the naïve school girl even realise she’s putting her and Toadie’s careers completely on the line?!

Bea makes things worse with Scarlett?

Roxy and Bea are uber suspicious of Scarlett and think she is just telling porkie after porkie. They’re not wrong, but their decision to do something about it is dangerous. They opt to confront her, but little do they know what they have just triggered.

Dipi and Pierce cheat

Dipi and Shane have both been struggling with their respective marriages, and that coupled with the fact they have been spending more and more time together, it’s only a matter of time before it causes. Chloe is insisting on dealing with her grief alone leaving Pierce feeling alienated, while Dipi and Shane remain divided due to his drug addiction. Chloe confesses to Fay that she just can’t talk to Pierce, so Fay decides to make herself scarce to allow the couple to have some alone time.

But when they try to fix things by attending Dipi’s cooking class, they end up further divided. So do Dipi and Shane when Dipi snaps over Shane’s behaviour in the class. Dipi and Pierce are left consoling each other, especially after Pierce learns Chloe is confiding in Nicolette and not him. As Dipi and Pierce compare notes and let their frustrations out, they’re swept up in a moment – and kiss! Is this the start of something very, very bad?

Scenes air from Monday 12th October on Channel 5.
