Spoilers: Creepy Rose sets Toadie up for heartbreak in Neighbours

Rose (Lucy Durak) is one shady character and with her latest actions she drops a few more tones down the HB scale. Not content with injuring poor Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) in her prank wars with Toadie (Ryan Moloney) in Neighbours, Rose is about to up her game in a bid to win back her man.

In a heated moment orchestrated by Rose, she and Toadie kiss. It’s exactly what she wants – he is clearly falling in love with her and she has him right where she wants him. It’s bye bye Melanie as far as she is concerned.

But that’s not quite so as Toadie does have morals, even if he has taken leave of them for that moment. He’s conflicted; he’s just cheated on his girlfriend, but clearly he’s not that happy if he could do such a thing.

Rose is over the moon and has a confession for Toadie – she is back in Erinsborough for him, she wants him back. This leaves Toadie in a mess; while he feels disgusted with himself for his betrayal, Rose is revelling in the moment.

Toadie is so devastated at his actions he can’t keep it to himself and gives Mel a full rundown of his indiscretion. But his head is in conflict too – how could he do such a thing to Mel? What does it mean?

Melanie is desperately hurt and gives Toadie a wide berth which gives Rose the opportunity to muscle in. But she is annoyed to learn Toadie isn’t just falling in to her arms, so she comes up with a plan.

Rose does the unthinkable and contacts Melanie’s ex Justin and sets up a meeting for them. Mel reluctantly goes along to find out what this is all about, which is the exact moment Rose has arranged for Toadie to walk in on – and he sees Mel having a cosy chat with her ex. Now Toadie thinks he’s the one being cheated on, will he give up on Mel and fall straight into Rose’s trap?
