Queen Letizia of Spain looked sharp in a scarlet coat with a waterfall collar as she stepped out in Madrid today to round up a busy week.

The Spanish royal, 50, wore the loose-fitting cover up with oversized lapels to a presentation by the board of UNICEF Spain, of which she is Honorary President.

She moved away from the chromatic range of pinks, which have been her uniform this week, as she joined the Board of Trustees at the UNICEF headquarters.

Letizia wore her deep-red coat undone, with the tie belt loosely at her side, showing off a Carolina Hererra houndstooth blouse in red.
