Queen Elizabeth Warned Meghan And Harry To Stop Undermining William And Kate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made headlines ever since their royal engagement in the fall of 2017. The couple, who just welcomed their first child this month, is on course to eclipse Prince William and Kate Middleton in popularity. To help prevent a media disaster, Queen Elizabeth is reportedly taking steps to ensure Harry and Markle stop undermining William and Middleton. But will Her Majesty’s efforts pay off in the long run?

Queen Elizabeth warns Harry and Meghan

There is little doubt that Harry and Markle are on track to become two of the most famous members of the royal family. The pair garnered a lot of media attention when they tied the knot last year. They also made headlines throughout Markle’s pregnancy, despite being ultra-secretive about the birth.

It is not necessarily a bad thing that Markle and Harry arebecoming so popular, but problems arise when they start overshadowing Williamand Middleton.

According to Express, inside sources claim that Queen Elizabeth is doing everything in her power to ensure that Prince William and Middleton do not decline in popularity. To that end, Her Majesty has reportedly warned Markle and Harry to tone things down and stop doing things that directly compete with the future Prince and Princess of Wales.

Competing gardens

Queen Elizabeth has not commented on the rumors surrounding Harry and Markle’s popularity, but there is good reason to believe the reports are true. This month, Middleton made headlines after she debuted her gorgeous “Back to Nature” garden.

Her Royal Highness is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular. Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate @The_RHS Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den. The Duchess told Monty Don in an interview for the BBC: “I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children. I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.”

Middleton worked for months on the project, the goal ofwhich is to promote mental and physical health by experiencing the naturalworld. The only issue is that Markle has also been working on a garden – and itis right next door to Middleton’s plot.

To be fair, Markle’s garden is completely different thanMiddleton’s project and highlights climate change in Africa. Even still, theroyal family was worried that Markle’s garden was going to overshadowMiddleton, so they took steps to ensure that does not happen.

Officials reportedly asked the garden staffers not to use any photographs of Harry in promotional materials for the project because it conflicts with what Middleton is doing. Apparently, there is only room for one garden in the royal family.

Is there a rift between Prince William and Prince Harry?

Markle gave birth to her first child with Harry at the beginning of May. The former actress and Harry made the announcement on social media, confirming that they had a healthy boy. They later announced that they had named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. While the entire world celebrated with Markle and Harry, William and Middleton did not meet Archie until a week after he was born, sparking rumors that the brothers are still feuding.

Royal experts believe that the delay is a clear indication that things are not right between William and Harry. In fact, William appeared at several royal engagements before heading out to Frogmore Cottage to visit with the newest member of the family.

It is unclear why Prince William and Middleton waited so long to visit Harry and Markle, but this is hardly the first time feud rumors have surfaced. If Harry and Markle continue to gain in popularity, it likely will not be the last.

Kate Middleton and Prince William break rules

Amid the feud rumors, William and Middleton proudly debutedher garden at the Chelsea Flower Show earlier this month. While the familyappeared more than happy with how everything turned out, they actually broke arule at the event by bringing along their kiddos.

The rules of the show do not allow children under five onthe premises. Two of the couple’s children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louisdo not pass the age limit and should not have been allowed inside.

Despite the controversy, Kensington Palace shared several photos of Middleton and her children at the garden show. All three children looked thrilled to be hanging out with their mother, who was clearly proud of her garden design. Middleton has not said anything about Markle’s garden project.
