People Reallyyyy Believe Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson Are Engaged

07/11/2019

Everyone loves Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne, so when news broke that they starting dating each other, the internet collectively lost its sh*t, as it tends to do. Rumors of their relationship first started circulating back in May 2018, but since they’re both very private, they didn’t drop many hints… until August when they kissed in front of paparazzi at London’s Heathrow Airport. LOL, did they really think no one would see them??

Since then, the pair has become inseparable in public, hanging out literally everywhere together, wearing necklaces with their initials (awww), and oh yeah—purchasing a $750 (regular retail price) sex bench. You know, just girly things!

Now, fans are freaking out because it appears the couple might take a new step in their relationship and become wife and wife. Over 4th of July weekend, Ashley and Cara were seen together vacationing in Saint-Tropez. Nice, right? Even nicer was the fact that they wore gold bands on their left ring ringers, which look suspiciously like classic engagement rings. Of course, neither will confirm or deny if the rumors are fact or fiction, but it does look pretty legit.

Whatever the case, it’s clear they’re really happy in their relationship, and now they’re beginning to make their feelings known on a more public scale. While being honored at the TrevorLIVE Gala on June 18, Cara was asked why she decided to finally confirm her relationship with Ashley. Her response? “I don’t know, because it is Pride,” she said. “It’s been 50 years since Stonewall [Riots] happened and I don’t know. It’s been just about our one-year anniversary so, why not?”

Later in the night while accepting the Hero Award for her support of the LGBTQ+ community, Cara took a moment to low-key thank Ashley in her speech. “I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are,” she said. “She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.”
