Chloe Kim isn’t just an Olympian, she’s also a great singer. HL talked EXCLUSIVELY with Chloe after she was revealed as the Jellyfish on ‘The Masked Singer’ about her future with music and more.

There’s no doubt about it, Chloe Kim can sing. The 20-year-old Olympic snowboarder stunned The Masked Singer’s panelists and fans with her incredible voice. She was revealed as the Jellyfish during the Super Six semi-finals after dazzling performances. HollywoodLife got to speak EXCLUSIVELY with Chloe after the big reveal about whether or not she’ll pursue more singing in the future.

“I would love to,” Chloe told HollywoodLife. “I mean, I know now that people like my voice, so I won’t be too shy to put something out. But obviously, with the Olympics and stuff coming up, we’ll see what that looks like. But I would love to do it. It’s been so much fun, and I would love to sing more.”

The Masked Singer filmed over the summer, which ended up being perfect timing for the Olympian, who is training for the 2022 Winter Olympics. “We get a good summer break in-between seasons, so I shot the show over the summer, and it was perfect,” Chloe revealed. “I still was able to work out before or after I had to be on set. I got everything I needed to get done and got to have some fun in a jellyfish costume. It was like the perfect month of my life.”

Chloe admitted that she’s never thought she was a “good singer,” but her mom had a hunch when she was just a baby. “My mom actually thought I was going to be a singing prodigy,” Chloe told HollywoodLife. “Because at one time when I was a baby, I was able to hum ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ the whole thing through. So my mom thought I was going to be a singing prodigy. But that didn’t happen because I didn’t really sing. I just hummed that one thing. I didn’t think I was a good singer. It was just like people saying, wow, you can actually sing. I was like, I don’t know what that means. I just did it as a hobby and just for fun. I taught myself how to play guitar, and I play guitar and like to sing a couple of my favorite songs, but it’d be like once in a while.”

Even though Chloe has performed on the biggest stage in sports, she’s never experienced anything like The Masked Singer before. “When it comes to the Olympics, that’s something I’ve trained for my whole life,” Chloe said. “It’s something that I wanted to do, and something that I’ve worked really hard for. I had a lot of people that I knew who experienced it before. But when it comes to performing on a stage, I’ve never had experience at all with that. I was so incredibly nervous. With the Olympics, I kind of knew what to expect, but with this, I had no idea.”

The Olympian admitted she was “so nervous” when she was on stage. “I was shaking during my first performance,” she continued. “I was literally trembling. It was actually really sad. I just have never really performed or taken singing seriously at all. I’m new to it, and I didn’t know there are so many things that went into singing until I started getting some coaching. I was very nervous. My heart has never thumped so much before my life. But it was so fun. I’m so happy I did it. No regrets at all.” The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays on FOX.
