My husband has become fixated with far-right groups even though I'm black08/16/2021
DEAR DEIDRE: FAR-RIGHT groups have become a fixation with my husband.
I’ve reminded him they’d consider him a race traitor because I’m black and he’s white. Our kids would never be accepted in a society like that.
But he reads their books and listens to them online non-stop.
Now his behaviour with me and our children has changed in public. If he sees groups of white women, he will try to make it look like he’s not with us.
It’s humiliating but he denies it when I confront him and says I overreact.
I’m 38 and he’s 42. We’ve been together for 15 years. He’s a smart guy otherwise, so it’s weird to think he’s been indoctrinated

DEIDRE SAYS: You do deserve so much better than this. Your husband is making you miserable.
He is disrespectful and ignoring your feelings. Ask him why he does something that hurts you so much.
Tell him that even if he thinks you are overreacting, this affects you deeply and makes you question his love for you.
If he continues to behave in this way, it proves he is more concerned with himself than showing that he loves you. Ask yourself whether you have a future with someone so selfish.
