DEIDRE SAYS: Your girlfriend is right in that in order to move in together you absolutely need clear communication, and this includes money matters. Is there a compromise?
You could have a joint account for bills and keep your separate accounts for your own expenses.
Explain to her that she needs to respect how you spend your money.
If you can’t agree then perhaps it’s time to separate.
