Mum tries model’s upside down bikini hack – and result leaves fans in stitches

Comedian Celeste Barber left fans in stitches after attempting a Fashion Nova model's "upside-down" bikini hack.

The 40-year-old mum from Australia decided to give the trick a go after a model demonstrated how to do it in an Instagram video.

In the original clip, a pretty blonde model was seen making herself her own bandeau bikini.

She flipped the top upside down and tied the strings which would usually be around the neck, around the back.

The fashionista then tied the strings in a bow at the front to make it secure around her bust.

The result was a cute, strapless bikini top, which seemed simple enough for everyone to create – unless you're Celeste.

In her own video, which has gained more than 460,000 likes, the Aussie comic listed her version of the steps, which started with "steal your sister's bikini".

She then claimed to spend "20 minutes untying it" before doing the same to tie it back up again.

But when she struggled to get it right, she decided to throw in other bikini tops — and bottoms in an attempt to "regain some dignity".

However, she realised she'd made a mistake after she had knotted herself up with several pairs before declaring that she should just "move somewhere cold".

In the caption, she added: "Don’t overthink it."

Instagram viewers were left howling with laughter over the video as they poked fun at her botched 'attempt' in the comments.

One user wrote: "This has me in absolute stitches of laughter. Fabulous."

Another commented: "Okay Cece now you doing too much."

A third said: "Yes! Finally, someone pointed out this ridiculous trend where people turn their pants into blazers."
