Mum-of-21 Sue Radford announces she is booked in for induction of 22nd child

Mother to Britain’s largest family, Sue Radford, has revealed that she is nearly due to give birth to her 22nd child as she books in for an induction.

The 44-year-old, who fell pregnant with her first child at age 13, took to her family’s YouTube channel to update fans on her plans.

The mum, from Morecambe in Lancashire, has now entered the 29th week of her pregnancy and visited a consultant to check on the baby’s welfare.

Sue said: "She was doing brilliantly. Her head was measuring at 28 weeks, her leg was measuring at 30 weeks and so was her belly so she’s doing really well.

“Her estimated weight is 3lbs 3oz, which is good because I thought she was smaller. She’s still got time to have a growth spurt and she’s growing really well which is brilliant.”

The mum-of-21 showed followers an ultrasound and said that her induction was set for just weeks away.

Sue wouldn’t give the exact date, but said that it is in the family diary.

She also commented that her unborn daughter was moving around lots after previously noting that there was a lack of movement.

Sue had also worried that her bump was too small.

She said: “I’m really pleased with the movement she’s doing really well which is good. Obviously because she’s got a bit bigger I’m now getting much more movement."

While still not large, the mum admitted that she is getting bigger – which will come as a relief after Sue was stressed over a complication with the placenta.

Sue has developed an anterior placenta, where it sits in front of the foetus rather than behind it.

Sue has experienced this complication before with her daughter Bonnie, who is one, but said she is healthy and has “loads of energy”.

With 134,000 YouTube subscribers and a TV show, Brits seem fascinated by the massive family who famously claim no benefits, other than Child Benefit, to raise their family.

Instead they rely on father Noel, who was 18 when the couple’s first child was born, and his bakery.
