Marks & Spencer has unveiled its must-have midi dress in a new colour – and it already has Holly Willoughby’s seal of approval. 

The British retail giant unveiled the new £49.50 satin frock in black, following the success of the original navy blue. 

The style feature dainty pleats, a high neckline and button-up cuffs that perfectly capture this season’s trend of demure elegance.

The original M&S dress, which features a playful snake print, has been a hit with high street shoppers and fashion editors alike. 

And it looks like the new black version, which features a delicate floral print, is set to have similar success. 

The style has already sold out in a few Tall sizes and has been spotted on daytime TV queen Holly, 38.
