  • Wanessa Moura has transformed her face after years of bullying for appearance
  • Claims was taunted for her big nose which had a ‘thin tip’ and went under knife
  • After spending £15,000 is still keen for more surgery to treat an ‘imperfection’

A stunning Brazilian model has admitted she ‘doesn’t recognise herself’ after spending £15,000 on four nose jobs following years of bullying.

Wanessa Moura, 27, claims her nose was the part of her body that bothered her the most and she was regularly taunted about its size.

While going under the knife four times has helped her gain the confidence to become a model, she admitted she’s still not satisfied with her face and plans to undergo another nose operation in the future.

‘My nose was big and with a thin tip. When I smiled, the tip would go down, as you can see in the photos,’ she said, speaking about her nose before.

The model, pictured left as a child and right before surgery, claims her nose was the part of her body that bothered her the most and she was regularly taunted about its size

‘I want to correct a small imperfection; I am still very vain with my nose. To give you an idea, I have already spent £15,000 only on my nose.’

She has previously said she’s keen to resemble her idol Penelope Cruz, claiming she’s been told she resembles the Spanish actress.

‘I’m very proud of that,’ Wanessa added. ‘Her nose is perfect so I won’t rest until I can have the same one as hers.

‘In this last surgery, I wanted to correct imperfections; the postoperative is difficult but it is worth it.’

Wanessa recently posed for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, donning a sexy leather biker jacket and fishnet tights.

‘I don’t even recognise myself in these old photos,’ she said of the shoot. ‘I prefer my beauty today than eight years ago.’

Wanessa has enjoyed a successful career and was the face of a number of fashion campaigns and photoshoots in various countries around the world including Asia.

Speaking in the past about the importance she places on having plastic surgery for her career, she explained: ‘If I don’t feel good about any part of my body and I want to get better, I get better.

‘It is more correct to speak the truth about your beauty than to sell something that is not natural.’

Earlier this month, Wanessa spoke about sexual harassment within the fashion industry in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The model, who has 464,000 followers, claimed she experienced sexual harassment at the beginning of her career when she was 22 years old and living in India.

‘I read in the press that Globo is going to record another season of the series Verdades Secretas and remembered episodes about the routine of harassment against girls in modelling agencies that I want to share,’ she began.

‘The world of fashion is very difficult for those who are just starting out, I remember that I already received a proposal for me to sleep with photographers in order to be able to pose in a campaign.

‘Of course I refused, this is absurd, but we need to be very strong against these harassments. It exists and will happen with most models [sic].’

The model ended her lengthy post by adding that women need to ‘have a voice’ and used the hashtag #metoo.
