Meghan McCain believes Meghan Markle is a coward for skipping King Charles III’s coronation.

“There are arguably few people on Earth more obsessed with seeing themselves on camera than Meghan,” McCain, 38, wrote of Markle in a scathing op-ed published by the Daily Mail on Thursday.

“Now, all of a sudden, she doesn’t want to be pictured in public, dressed up in one of those ridiculous tiny hats? I’m sorry. I’m not buying it.”

Page Six reported that Markle is missing the coronation on May 6 so she can stay home and celebrate her and Prince Harry’s son Prince Archie’s fourth birthday, which is on the day of the ceremony.

But McCain called the excuse a “gallant effort at public-relations spin.”

“No one in their right mind believes Hollywood Meghan Markle is passing up a chance to peacock in front of the world to blow up balloons and serve cake in the backyard,” McCain wrote. “They couldn’t celebrate in the U.K.? Pssst… a preschooler has no idea what country he’s in.”

Instead, McCain believes Markle, 41, is missing Charles’ big day because she is too scared to face Harry’s family members after repeatedly dissing them in multiple interviews.

“I believe brave Meghan is chickening out. It seems to me that she is clearly unwilling to face the music with her in-laws and the British public,” McCain said.

McCain added, “No matter how tone-deaf she is (and she’s pretty tone-deaf), she must be aware of how deeply unpopular she is in her husband’s home country. She would likely be booed the second the private jet’s wheels touch down.”

The commentator further said that Markle’s unwillingness to attend the event proves that she and Harry aren’t doing much to make amends with the royal family.

“Once and for all, this demolishes the Sussexes’ claim that they’re interested in reconciliation,” McCain said, adding, “Any hopes that they’d get tired of the California sunshine and buzz off back to Great Britain are utterly lost.”

But the “View” alum also believes Markle doesn’t want to be seen at the coronation because the grand event is “not about her.”

“If Meghan were to attend the coronation, she would be relegated to the same place she and Harry occupied during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral — the D-List. To her, that’s unacceptable,” McCain wrote.

“But Meghan and the Prince of Mope have made their beds — and now they must lie in them. Their decision will hang over Harry’s trip — and it will give Americans even more reason to be disgusted by them both. No one likes an ingrate.”

McCain’s criticism of Markle comes after a palace spokesperson confirmed that Harry, 38, would be attending his dad’s coronation ceremony without his wife and their two kids: Archie, 3, and Princess Lilibet, 1.

“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6,” a palace spokesperson told Page Six on Wednesday.

“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

Harry’s upcoming trip to London will mark his first time visiting his family since his controversial memoir “Spare” dropped in January. He famously dragged Charles, 74, and his brother Prince William, 40, in the book, leaving him further estranged from his kin.

His family members reportedly have “no interest” in interacting with Harry when they reunite at the coronation.

Tensions have also been high between Markle and the British royals after she repeatedly bashed members of the monarchy following her resignation from her royal duties in 2020.

Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, 75, will be coronated on May 6. Harry, William, and several other A-listers are expected to attend, though it’s unclear who will perform at the historical event.
