After Archie was born, Prince Harry shared, “It’s been the most amazing experience I can ever possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing so we just wanted to share this with everybody.”

The details of their second pregnancy are scarce right now, but Prince Harry and Meghan shared in a statement: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Harriman shared the image on Instagram and tweeted the photo, writing: “Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic meant that Prince Harry and Meghan were kept mostly at home. They revealed how that afforded them the opportunity to be present for many of Archie’s milestones.

During an Oct. 11 conversation with Malala Yousafzai for International Day of the Girl, Prince Harry shared how they had been able to witness many of Archie’s firsts. “We were both there for Archie’s first steps, his first run, his first fall, everything,” Prince Harry explained.

Meghan added, “In so many ways we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow, and in the absence of COVID, we would be traveling and working more externally. We’d miss a lot of those moments. So I think it’s been a lot of really good family time.”
