‘Tis the season for Britain’s favourite restaurants to unveil Christmas specials, and add exciting seasonal flavours to classic coffees. Following Starbucks and Costa giving their menus festive makeovers, McDonald’s has added Christmas drinks to the menu. Here’s everything we know about McDonald’s 2021 Christmas menu so far.

Now Bonfire Night is out of the way, you’re free to dig out the decorations and get the Christmas tunes on.

With just seven weeks to go until Christmas Day, many highstreet restaurants are bringing out festive food and drink items to get customers in the spirit.

McDonald’s has unveiled its Christmas range of hot drinks, available now from McDonald’s UK stores.

Two Christmas specials have been announced by the fast food chain, and it’s good news for chocoholics.

Keep cosy with the Choco Fudge Latte: a shot of espresso with chocolate fudge flavoured syrup, steamed milk, whipped cream and chocolate fudge drizzle.

Also joining the McDonald’s menu is the Hot Chocolate Deluxe.

The Hot Chocolate Deluxe is an upgraded version of the regular hot chocolate, with an intense chocolatey flavour and topped with whipped cream and chocolate dusting.

The Toffee Latte is making a comeback, much to the delight of fans.

McDonald’s describes this sweet and creamy coffee as: “A smooth latte, blended with a sweet toffee syrup and topped with cream.”

It wouldn’t be a Christmas drinks launch without a jazzy cup design.

This year Maccies has opted for red, yellow and blue Christmas scenes on their classic McCafe cup.

When will McDonald’s announce its 2021 Christmas food menu?

The Christmas drinks sound delicious, and it’s a good indication McDonald’s will soon be dropping the details on their Christmas food menu.

Last year, the McDonald’s Christmas menu was announced on November 9, 2020.

If the beloved restaurant chain is following a similar timeline this year, we can expect to hear what Christmas food specials are joining the menu next week.

Speculating as to which items could be back on the menu, fans are hoping festive favourites including the Celebrations McFlurry and the Camembert-filled Cheese Melt Dippers could be making a return.
